Kangaroo Leather Strop [6″ x 1″]

Kangaroo Leather Strop is an efficient way of final polishing a cutting edge using guided knife sharpeners suitable for 6″ stones. A leather strop enhances the cutting edge by correcting small nicks and smoothing grooves.

The stropping medium is a leather pad made of vegetable-tanned kangaroo leather mounted on high-quality aluminum with 45-degree bevels (Edge Pro form factor). The thickness of the leather is approximately 1mm, and the thickness of the aluminum blank is 5mm.

How to Use

Gently slide the cutting edge over the strop, repeating 20-30 times for each side of the blade. The motion should avoid damaging the strop with the cutting edge.
