Naniwa Fuji 8000 Stone [6″ x 1″]

Fuji 8000 sharpening stones are used for sharpening knives on Hapstone and Edge Pro knife sharpeners. Fuji stones are made of aluminum oxide. All Fuji stones are 5-6 mm thick and are mounted on high-quality aluminum blanks.

Fuji 8000 is part of Naniwa Kiken series which includes Kuroto 1000, Hayabusa 4000, Fuji 8000 and other. Kiken series does not compose the set of even progression but offers “repository” of premium stones to make a custom stone set.

Fuji 8000 is preliminarily lapped and does not require lapping after purchase.

Fuji 8000 should be used with water as a lubricant. Soak the stone in the water for 5 minutes before use. Never store Fuji stones in water. Never dry Fuji stones near heat.
