Tam O’Shanter is recommended to use as finish or micro-bevelling with hard steels sensitive to micro-chipping.

How to use

Tam O’Shanter Whetstones should be used with water. All that is required is to wet the Tam O’Shanter surface. There is no need to immerse the stone. During the sharpening, slurry is released from the surface.

Tam O’Shanter stones may have slight natural imperfections. Tam O’Shanter stones always have a color pattern; this is not a defect.

Tam O’Shanter stone does not require any preparations.
